Almost passed on that road 2 summers ago, on the way from Keylong to Kishtwar, but was blocked by several landslides a little after Udaipur (where the road is still manageable). Little did I know of these conditions further on !! Then had to go back and drive (or rather hitchhike) the new Darcha to Padum road, through Shinku La. Very beautiful and not so easy road, but not half as scary as this one !!!
